momoiro-machiko.blogspot.com/I figured...it's about time I update this journal on DevArt!!! It's been Anime North since I updated...and I've been actively blogging on my personal blog, but for some reason I never got around to DA. . .
My mom has been pushing me to clean up a bunch of stuff in the storage room and the other room next to mine which I've taken hostage. All of my stuff is spawning over the house, and I found some plushies that had not sold at Anime North while I was rummaging. They're currently up for sale, the full details are in the deviation in my gallery. I decided to sell them for less than I usually charge for their individual commissions since I would like them to go to new homes
Past few months have been pretty good. Work is...nothing too special. I guess the nice thing is that I see a lot of old money, and as a collector it's really tempting to exchange new bills for old ones...LOL
But I already have an extensive collection that was given to me by my grandfather, so most of the time I'm just looking for new coins released by the mint that I don't already have.
The new $100 plastic bills that just went into circulation a couple weeks ago are really neat...I don't own one myself personally, but it's still fun to look at when I do come across them. The holographic effect is amusing
They smell kind of odd though...like some kind of chinese medical rub...(don't ask..).
I went to Japan last month with some of my friends and my sister. It was really AMAZING. I miss Japan...especially the food. We've all uploaded pictures...and I haven't gotten around to compiling them all together to make a super album of the trip. We did many things, mostly it was a shopping trip in Tokyo, but my friend Keiko and I went out for a day trip in Yokohama. That itself was an interesting story because we got lost and started walking around in circles in Chinatown. @__@;;
We managed to score FRONT ROW tickets to a GazettE Live. Words cannot describe how amazing it was. I was in front of Aoi the whole time. I was only a few feet away from the stage and him...and I wish I could have clobbered him and kidnapped him
!! It was a really fun experience though, because the fan club has developed moves to go with most of their songs, especially the fan favourites. My friends and I had to crash course learn all these moves, because it would have been pretty bad in the front row if we just stood there...doing nothing, like 'dead fish'.
They don't mosh in Japan (which I like...because I don't get destroyed), but when we were dancing and jumping around to Kantou, Keiko and I would mosh into each other...and somehow I would become a ping pong between her and Bossu. LOL
My sister went BJD and Dollfie Dream crazy and shopped like mad for any doll items. I decided to hold back and not buy too much related to dolls. My dolls seem to have an extensive amount of stuff already...so I don't want to add to the pile unless I have to >__<;
Unfortunately, Luts had an event that ended last week....I did the down payment for a group order. Let's say...it hurt.
My newest obsession is Lolita fashion. I've always liked it before...but something happened after this trip. I've been hunting for lots of Lolita prints and stuff. Let's just say...my credit card is a bit melted. >_<;
This new hobby has also affected my sister...LOL Oops?
I'll try to update DA more often. Seems like I float in and out of using DA...I leave and come back after a time of hiatus. I think I'm just trying to get my real life together, trying to see what I want to do and continue with in my life. Sometimes, life isn't so simple. (-__-);;
Well, until next time!
Have a great start to the holiday season everyone!
